May - 08 - Well, things are starting to look up a little around here finally. My personal health is finally starting to get back to normal and we are looking forward to getting back into participating more within the sheltie world. I've missed the shows and seeing sheltie friends. It's been a long and rocky recovery from double abdominal hernia surgery this past year.

Emma was bred to "Ashton" owned by Holly Hatcher this past February but Emma did not take. We have a few boys in mind to try again but am not rushing it. All her testing will be done this summer now that she is two years old. Her thyroid is normal. She continues to be a very sweet and smart girl but lacks confidence when outside the home so she will not be able to be shown for now. She has such quality otherwise and at this point we could not part with her. She and her mom Morrighan are inseparable companions and friends and is very attached to us as a family. Like her mom she will be here with us for their lifetimes. We just love our two girls and hope to get some new pics this weekend of them.

March - 08 - We redesigned our website front page and top page banner and finally got new pics of the girls. The little cutie pictured on the banner is Emma as a puppy.

March - 08 - Rory is now owned by Wespointe Shelties, Linda Poirier, of Canada. Linda took Rory to his Can Ch last year. We are thrilled that he is now living with Linda and wish them the best of luck in the future!!

March - 08 - We just received a very nice email from Dianne Waldron to let us know how well her two Rory girls have done so far and how much she loves them. We are so pleased to announce that both of the girls since our last post are Can Ch's! She also reported the following:

Porscha - has won an Award of Merit at a Specialty
She has won a number of Best of Breeds a group 1 and group 3
A Best Puppy in Show
A Best Puppy in Specialty Show
A Best Brace in Specialty Show and 5 Best Braces in Show with Sister Mischa.
and is not even a year and a half yet.

"Also, Mischa her sister has won a number of things in her own right, although the focus was on Porscha as she had more coat. I look forward to taking Mischa to the Spokane Specialty in April for my first appearance in the States. Porscha will be at the American National also in April and I will be showing her there. I am very excited."

Although we know their lovely dam had a lot to do with this as well we are very pleased and proud when Rory kids have done so well. The girls are simply gorgeous! Thanks Dianne for letting us know about them. We look forward to more good news.

Dec 07 - This past year proved to be a good one for us in that we had our first homebred Am Ch, BISS RiverDance Dressed To Kilt, Rory, who is owned and loved by Akadia and Iona Shelties of ID. In their capable hands Rory zoomed through his Am Ch with 4 majors and then traveled to Canada and gained his Can Ch in short order there as well. He also has sired some very nice puppies including one Am pointed offspring and also two Can Ch in limited usage. He also placed second in his class at this year's National. We are very proud of Rory and his accomplishments.
